Sophia Carroll essay on the date rape drug

My wonderful friend - and virtual niece - Sophia Carroll has an essay on the Huffington Post on her Independence Day encounter with the date rape drug.

Sophia is fine - she is a strong, wise and, in this case, fortunate woman - but this incident could have ended with any number of  terrible outcomes.

Soph's essay is definitely worth a read - and some thought.

Thanks, Joe. It's fixed now. (And it's good to have a friend in QA.)

Dear Maureen,

Came across this link trying to find information on date rape drug testing for a friend who was recently raped. I read Sophia's essay, and was hoping to ask her what the outcome was...did the hair testing yield anything? My friend's toxicology test was negative, which makes her case against the guy more difficult. If you have any means of asking her...it would be helpful. There wasn't a way to contact her through the Huffington Post article, near as I could tell.

Thank you
