Societe General did not complain when he made them money but when he lost them money, they sue. And how is that a bank has no idea that there were activities for billions of trades, so does that mean if Jerome tried to embezzle the money he could have easily. I hate that the judge said that Jerome put the bank at risk and put peoples job at risk, what about these CEOs of citigroup, bank of America, wamu, etc., how can they put a trillion dollars of deposits at risk, hundreds of thousands of jobs at risk, world economies at risk, and walk out free of any lawsuit, no criminal charges, bail out funds from the governments, and some still got bonuses.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10329278.post-80342438182882436382010-10-23T15:44:02.169-03:002010-10-23T15:44:02.169-03:00I cannot believe that he got 3 year sentence and h...I cannot believe that he got 3 year sentence and have to pay a fine of $7 billion. 1st off no one making less than a million dollar salary should have access to billions for trading, Jerome had a salary of about 40$k and his bonuses were small considering before he lost the bank 7 billion, he made them around 1.9 billion in 2007.
